My name is Shayvon Hawkins, I am the founder and director of Little DreamChasers Academy. As a mother of 3, a degree in psychology and a passion for early childhood development, my goal is to support children's desire to be life-long learners.To me, the most amazing thing is to see or hear one of the students apply something that I have taught, and to see the excitement in their faces is priceless.

Each day I want to inspire, ignite the imagination and instill a love for learning and coming to school.

I was born and raised  in the Big Apple, New York City and I love going home when time permits to see my parents, younger brothers, other family and friends.

Travel, fashion and dance are my hobbies. I could spend a lifetime on all 3 :-)  I love to cook and try new recipes. My family and I have recently adopted a more organic food lifestyle with some vegan favorites !
